Patrick is a Peabody-winning Executive Producer of The Rebellious Life of Mrs. Rosa Parks, a 2021 documentary commissioned by Peacock, and a Film Independent Spirit Award-winning Executive Producer of Black and Missing, a 2021 limited documentary series on HBO. He specializes in identifying compelling stories, conducting research, brokering access and building trust with institutions and subjects, leading teams to get the necessary coverage and soundbites, finding additional visuals and voices needed for full context, and editing the pieces in the most fluid, compact, and compelling manner.

While upholding the journalistic standards of Soledad O’Brien, or satisfying the premium storytelling requirements of HBO and Netflix, he’s worked with distraught families of missing Black women in the DC area, reluctant law enforcement officers, contentious executives of a worldwide church, and celebrities from Mike Tyson to Bill Belichick.

Patrick is passionate about impactful, premium storytelling. He resides in Brooklyn, New York with his family, and surprisingly sweet German Shepard, Naya.
